Gartec are proud to be accredited for various systems and standards. Recently we have been working with BSI (British Standards Institute) to update, renew and add to our extensive collection – all designed to give you peace of mind.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT – ISO 14001
The ISO 14000 family relates to the environment and the company – from impact through to proactive choices.
ISO 14001:2015 is defined by ISO (International Standards Organisation) as:
“ISO 14001:2015 is intended for use by an organization seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability”
Gartec are proud to be re-accredited for yet another year for ISO 14001:2015, giving you confidence that our procedures, activity and purchasing are all moving toward a more environmentally friendly future.
HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGEMENT – OHSAS 18001
The OHSAS 18000 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) family links with health and safety management within a company.
OHSAS 18001 is defined by BSI (British Standards Institute) as:
“OHSAS 18001 is a framework for an occupational health and safety… to help put in place the policies, procedures and controls needed for your organisation to achieve the best possible working conditions and workplace health and safety, aligned to internationally recognised best practice”
Gartec have achieved accreditation for yet another year, so you know we are always striving for safety on site and off.
Gartec take pride in their health and safety accreditations, having also achieved CHAS, Alcumus, SMAS, SIPP and various other accreditations to do with contractor and other health and safety at work.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT – ISO 9001
Another ISO system, the quality series of accreditations falls under the ISO 9000 series.
BSI (British Standards Institute) define ISO 9001 quality system as:
“ISO 9001 is not only recognized internationally as the world’s most widely adopted Quality Management System (QMS), it’s also a powerful business improvement tool.
An ISO 9001 quality management system will help you to continually monitor and manage quality across your business so you can identify areas for improvement”
ISO 9001:2015 fits perfectly with the continuous improvement ethos Gartec employ. Our quality control measures are always being improved and updated – including a new feedback area for you to let us know how we’re doing.
