Gartec service packages are designed to keep your lift safe, compliant, and reliable.
Each package includes planned maintenance by our directly employed engineers, supported by our service team, spare parts network, and a network of fully vetted subcontractors. Engineers attend with the tools and components required to complete most work on the first visit.
Our engineers arrive fully prepared, equipped with the tools and essential components needed to complete the majority of work on the first visit. We also carry a selection of key spare parts as standard. During the initial visit, your engineer will provide a basic lift safety briefing. For more comprehensive annual safety training, please contact our team.
LOLER inspection and certification are not included as standard but can be added to your contract. This ensures you remain compliant and meet all relevant legal obligations with ease.

Understanding LOLER
LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) requires that all passenger-carrying lifts used at work are subject to a thorough examination by a competent person every six months โ generating two LOLER examinations and written reports per year. If your lift is used in a commercial or workplace setting, this is a legal requirement, and the Bronze+, Silver+, Gold, and Platinum packages all include it.
For private residential lifts or lifts not covered by LOLER, our home service packages provide the appropriate level of planned maintenance without the additional cost of LOLER certification. Not sure which applies to you?

Our nationwide network of in-house engineers means we can respond quickly to call-outs across the UK, regardless of your service package. We recognise that response times to more rural locations may be longer than in urban areas, and we will always communicate estimated arrival times clearly and keep you updated throughout.
Software updates for all lift control systems are carried out in line with manufacturer recommendations, ensuring your lift benefits from the latest performance and safety improvements as standard.
